On our Wednesday Night Culinary Travels we ended up in Roslindale Village at The Village Sushi & Grill. We sat outside on the Patio and were Greeted by our Waitress who was Welcoming and Helpful with Menu choices. She took our Drink and Appetizer orders for the Tempura Starter, Chicken on Skewer, Don Shumai (deep fried), Scallion Pancake, Sushi Starter, Miso Soup, Unagi (Eel) Sushi and an Entree of Bui-Go-Ki . Everything was Delicious and Tasty. The Drinks were Ice Cold . The Service was Excellent . Highly Recommend Village Sushi & Grill .
I came in starving and had to make it to an event nearby on time. Mariana had me in and out, and the food was excellent!
What a fantastic little sushi spot. I've lived all over Cambridge, Brookline and the South End and no sushi spot can compare to this one. Joe, the owner, is super friendly. Sushi is REALLY good here, fresh and delicious. Most of the bad reviews here are for non-sushi items. If you stick to the sushi, this place is a gem. They are also amazing about allergies. Highly recommend!
Of course Roslindale continues with its tradition of having some of the best little restaurants; hidden away... this place has good food, a nice cozy atmosphere, and is perfect for families and friends.
